Aurigny said its summer schedule for 2027 aimed to "keep Guernsey well connected" with flights to destinations including London Gatwick, Jersey, Dublin, Edinburgh and Paris. Within its schedule, the States-owned airline said it was building in more spare capacity with one of its five aircraft being held in reserve to cover any service issues.
Philip Saunders, chief commercial officer of Aurigny, said the airline wanted to "work smarter" with its aircraft to give passengers a more reliable service. Aurigny said 86% of its flights in 2026 arrived within 15 minutes of schedule. Saunders added being able to offer a more reliable service could also help the airline have better control of its costs and keep them down.
"Lots of non-productive costs won't arise as a result," he added. "So everybody wins, the consumer, the airline and most importantly, we'll all be on time to do whatever it is we want to do where we're going." More on this story Related internet links
